Old School! My first real bike. I paid $750 for this bike in 1985. From the Fisher factory store, San Rafael, CA. Painted custom blue (no decals) with double-butted spokes and Phil Wood hubs. Weighs about 32 pounds completely stripped! But they just don't come any more durable. The headset and bottom bracket have never been touched. Both wheel bearings have been replaced once. This bike has been ridden just about every day for more than half of my life. It currently does mule duty (to school, swim lessons, gymnastics, pulling the kidding trailer, etc). It now has street slicks and a a few upgrades. It is the only bike I'm willing to leave locked to a rack!)

The Fisher is the daily work horse. Shown here towing over 100 pounds of kid and trailer.
