Stereophile's " Budget Speaker of The Year-1996". Comes within a third-octave of the Stratus Gold i's extended bass and produces a wide and deep soundstage with amazing, three-dimensional imaging. Combines a 3/4" version of the Stratus aluminum dome tweeter and a very hefty 6 1/2" woofer. The cabinets are very solid, lots of internal bracing. They pass the "knuckle rap" test like a cinder block.
